According to the spiritual Eastern scripture of the Upanishads, the universe is recreated eternally from the breath of Brahman
The five Pranas – Prana, Apana, Udana, Vyana and Samana.
The five Upa-Pranas – Naga, Kurma, Devadatta, Krikala and Dhananjaya
Prana supplies the human body with essential oxygen.
Apana influences the lower part of the body from the navel to the soles of the feet & regulates waste elimination.
think about it. you don’t control when you gotta pee and shit. you usually “feel” like you have to. now you know why.
lower abdomen, intestines, kidneys, urinary tract, legs, etc., diseases are because of disturbed Apana.
Vyana flows through all of the nerve channels of the human body.
poor circulation, impaired nerve stimulation & nervous breakdowns are a result of disturbed Vyana.
Udana is the ascending energy that flows from the heart to the head & brain. it helps with awakening the kundalini shakti.
when one lies on a bed of nails with no pain or walks hot coals, this is Udana being controlled.
control Udana enough, you can float. levitate. it can be activated by the Bhramari Pranayama breathing technique.
Samana distributes the energy of nutrition throughout the human body.

when you burp and fart, that’s Naga. so gas doesn’t build up inside of you.
Kurma controls the opening and closing of the eyelids. blinking. you don’t control that. it just happens. now you know why.
Kurma protects the eyes from the penetration of dust & foreign bodies etc. fucked up Kurma causes eye twitching.
Devadatta is similar to Samana. causes yawning to expel gas & reducing tiredness after eating.
you don’t control yawning. you just do it. now you know why. Devadatta.
Krikala clears blockages in the respiratory system. causes sneezing. you don’t control sneezing. now you know why.
Dhananjaya opens and closes your heart valves. you don’t control that. now you know what does.
